    The riverbank at Medmenham is both a place of beauty and also an important launch point for rescue services. The River Thames at various locations throughout Buckinghamshire is running at high levels, causing flooding and bank erosion. We have provided funding of £3000 to install erosion defences, to repair this stretch of riverbank

    Northend Common covers around 31 acres and is a mix of woodland, open wildflower glades and a pond. As chair of the SWCCB we have secured a grant of £15,000 to help The Chiltern Society set up and protect this important part of the Chilterns and fund biodiversity.

    This awful flytip in Chisbridge Lane was first reported in October last year. I have asked for it to be cleared several times through the council channels.     I have been working with Skirmett Village Hall committee to get a grant for new doors and interior works which has now been awarded the funding of £8719.08. I had already helped the committee get a broadband connection which turned out to be more straight forward than we thought!
